GBTimelapse supports Canon 500D T1i

We've just finished GBTimelapse version 2.1.19 with support for the Canon 500D digital SLR.

In our tests the 500D ran long enough on a full battery charge to shoot almost 3,000 images at a 5 second interval (ISO 500, Tv=0.5", Av=f/5.6, WB=Daylight, Size=Large/Normal).

A few tips on using this camera:

1) After establishing the focus, switch the lens to MF to avoid unnecessary focusing for subsequent shots.

2) Before using the camera, use it's internal menu to change the "Auto power off" setting from it's 30 second default to 4 minutes or more.

3) Avoid using auto ISO, it causes extra delays

4) Stick to the standard shooting modes P, Tv, Av, and M

5) If the camera has an error while running with GBTimelapse, clear the error by turning the camera off and then back on again.

Good Luck!
